Q: I feel like I'm at another crossroads, or more like a fork in the road. I am back to asking questions like before, when my days are not consumed by a business that needs my total focus, to this:
What is in store for me during this current break between jobs?
A: You are going on a journey much like your myth statement for the upcoming Mitote. The next step you take brings you closer to home. Your home is one of Peace, Playfulness, Love, and Calmness. No more anxiety-filled days and worry of being judged for your every movement and nuance.
Your entire Journey need not be focused on the last moment. That again, was just a short, small point in time. It seems to loom large now, because it was so recent, but you will, in time, forget most details of those months; especially now, because your life is going to shift dramatically to focus on other aspects you love and hold dear.
This is the moment you should journal. These are the days coming up, that you will want to look back on and wonder how all that has taken place in such a short moment in time. You will delight in the string of connections and how it all comes together. It will be a beautiful story.
Remember to follow spirit and just know, not to study endlessly. Follow your heart's desire and believe in what you love. You are far from being a child and have developed strong habits for a good life in the physical. You can relax that pressing need to learn how to behave. You have arrived and can live in knowing that you can grab ideas that are needed at the right time, Like picking low-hanging fruit. Your metaphysical garden is as full as your physical one.
Enjoy! Relax! Have fun. You will be taken care of financially and in health.

Q: I am feeling sort of lost today. I am only focussed on job searches and little else. Should I be doing more?
A: You are doing exactly what you should be doing. Don't push yourself to fill in perceived gaps. Each day will present itself with exactly the right amount of things to do and to think about. You have set many balls in the air - wait for them to come to rest.
Q: A long time ago, when I was deeply conflicted about my work - is when I received a very comforting message. It gave me the clarity to take a chance; that I would not be alone. It gave me strength and comfort for two years. I'd love to have that clarity again. Could I get that sort of message again?
A: The writing you are doing today and over the recent past are the messages you are seeking.
Again, your tightly clenched body, wound up with your searching mind, are the elements of your own life that make you the least happy. Your best advise is to see the joy of every moment: smell, taste, and touch it to gain a calm mind and body.
You are capable of more than you give yourself credit for. This time is not a test. It is just a moment in your life. Savor it as you would the days at home when the new baby arrives.
Q: Am I practicing mindfulness? It has been a long slide from where I was a few months ago to where I am today and I am asking for feedback.
A: In a short answer - Yes, you are practicing mindfulness to a much greater extent than before you became aware. You now need to become open to every day happenings and spontaneous enlightments. This is only another step - or stage - to your stated goal. The twist here is that there is no final destination or goal to attain. There is only the path and the goal is to stay on your path. You redefine and refine your path every day with every step you take.
That is all.
Q: I've been told by some of my teacher, that illness always accompanies spiritual growth. To others, this seems counter-intuitive. Please elaborate.
A: The illnesses you have experiences are not necessarily a direct response to your path. The path you are on contains many twists and turns; it can be a shock to the physical system, but illness is not required for growth.
If you want to avoid shocks to your body, be kinder to it - meditate more, drink more water, practice calming techniques. Let your physical body relax, so that when shifts occur, it can gently move and accept the new energy patterns as they appear.
So you see, the words you heard from your teachers are not untrue, but they were not giving you the whole truth.
Q: Lately, I feel uneasy every day. I think it has to be because I am looking for the "right" job, but every day turns an empty bucket. I am so tired of asking, but I'll ask again: What do I do now?
I'm already meditating and working out every day, re-working my yard, and keeping my house in order. What else?
A: You are suffering needlessly, for want of certainty, yet there us no such thing. Try to relax and enjoy each task. Smile. Sing a song. Tell your body it is all good.
Just like a child, the animal body needs reassurance, then it will relax a little more, then your mind will unclench just a tiny bit more, and then repeat the assurance to your body until the twisted wire unrolls and you are open to form a new alliance with another pattern.
These old patterns of thought and physical tension are keeping you in place longer than necessary.
Q: I seem most likely to ask for guidance when I have energy and when I am feeling down.
1- Is this the way it's going to be?
2- What advice to you have today - full disclosure: I'm feeling a uncomfortable again and want to feel more at ease with where I am.
A: You are in great distress and have needlessly spun yourself up.
First, take care of your body. Being sick has put you in a more fragile state, so that you are not able to aptly field technical requests in your job search. This needs to be your first concern.
Any advise for today us to let this week wind down and let go of expectations or miracles. Things happen as they usually do. That is, when you're not expecting and not looking so hard for the ship on the horizon.
Can you spend the day in the Loose World of Nothingness? It takes courage and ability to relax in that space. Drink water and hum a tune/ Take a walk. Go outside and see the world.
